We are thrilled to share that New Holland Early Learning Center is expanding!
We're opening a second location dedicated to our school-age students — creating room for 26 more children to learn, grow, and thrive. In addition, we’re launching a brand-new older infant classroom at our current site! To make this dream a reality, we need your help — to fill these new spaces with furniture, learning materials, and joyful smiles. Will you help us grow? We are laying the foundation for strong, capable, and confident children — the building blocks of a thriving community. We serve more than 100 children annually, from six weeks through fifth grade, in a nurturing, inclusive environment. Nearly half of our students receive scholarships or subsidies, and 25% benefit from specialized behavioral and developmental support in the classroom. We’re inviting you to be a part of this growth through Lancaster County’s annual day of giving — the ExtraGive — on Friday, November 21, 2025. This 24-hour celebration of local generosity is hosted by the Lancaster County Community Foundation, with support from the High Foundation and Murry Foundation. In 2024 alone, nearly 25,000 donors raised $10.1 million for over 400 local nonprofits.
This year, our goal is to raise $25,000 and to reach 100 donors.
Who We Are
New Holland Early Learning Center: Nurturing Growth, Learning, and Community
For over 43 years, New Holland Early Learning Center has provided a safe, nurturing early learning environment for children in New Holland and the surrounding communities. Serving more than 100 children annually—from six weeks old through fifth grade, the Center offers a loving, inclusive space where children learn through play, small group activities, and large group instruction. Our dedicated teachers tailor their approach to meet each child’s unique needs.
Parents can trust New Holland Early Learning Center to be a place where children not only grow academically and socially but also thrive emotionally. Approximately 52% of our students receive scholarships or state subsidies, and 35% benefit from specialized behavioral and developmental support provided directly in the classroom.
While state subsidies cover about 85% of tuition costs, the Center raises an additional $1,000 to $2,000 per child each year to sustain and enhance our programs. Families can also access scholarships through Pennsylvania state and private organizations. In addition, we proudly offer Pre-K Counts, a free preschool program for income-eligible families.
To continue delivering high-quality, individualized learning experiences, we are always seeking compassionate educators to support children in small groups and one-on-one settings.
Each day at the Center is filled with joy and discovery—from cuddling our emotional support bunnies to planting and harvesting in the Sprouts for Peace Garden, a meaningful partnership with New Holland Mennonite Church.
We are deeply grateful for our community and the strong partnerships we share with local businesses and the families we serve.
Thank you for helping us share the joy of learning—and the gifts of education, play, and love—every day.

New Holland Early Learning Center provides quality care and education for children and supports the individual needs of each student in a faith-based community. The Early Learning Center is currently doing a capital campaign to do improvements to our facility and currently on phase 2 with raising money for our kitchen remodel. We, also, need to make $30,000 annually as a non-profit on top of our tuition so we may provide quality care to our children.
