Since 1998, Milagro House has helped hundreds of women break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their children. When a woman finds Milagro House, she finds opportunity. She finds a place to flourish. Milagro House provides housing for women and their children while they are enrolled in our program. Caring, nurturing staff helps each woman develop a customized plan for success, and provides support, services and programs to ensure she has the resources needed to achieve her goals. Whether she is enrolled in our onsite GED program or in a post-secondary program, women at Milagro House are able to focus on their educational objectives, free from barriers that often impede women in poverty from pursing an education. When a woman leaves our program, she is walking confidently into her future with an education and the skills she needs to build a good life for herself and her children. Each one is truly a miracle. Simply put, YOU help us make that happen.
Milagro House provides housing, case management and supportive services to women and their children as women pursue an education. We believe that education is the key to moving from poverty and homelessness to self-sufficiency and sustainability.
